'Melting Men' Nele Azevedo

This incredible public art installation consisted of 1000 sitting figures made out of ice. It created an amazing spectacle on the steps of Concert Hall in Berlin's Gendarmenmarkt Square as the figures melted and warped over the space of a day. It was installed by Brazilian artist Nele Azevedo in collaboration with WWF to highlight the issue of Global Warming.
